The privacy of visitors to phdiddy.com is important.

Your Information. Personal  information provided by website visitors is treated confidentially and is not sold or distributed to anyone for any reason.  Like most standard Web site servers, phdiddy.com use log files. For each visitor to phdiddy.com, the Web server automatically recognizes and stores only the following standard information: the numerical IP address or domain name from which the visitor accessed the Internet; the date and time; the pages visited and whether the pages successfully downloaded to the visitor’s browser; and sometimes the referring Internet address of the website from which you may have accessed our website. This information will not be sold to anyone for any reason. Simply surfing phdiddy.com will not impart other personally-identifying information.  phdiddy.com does not use “web beacons” of any kind with the exception of third-party links or advertisers (see Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites).

Posting comments at phdiddy.com and cookies. Some sections and sub-domains of phdiddy.com allow users to post comments on blogs or forums.  Users wishing to post comments have the option to provide their name, email address and URL.   Posters’ names and optional URLs will be posted when their comments are approved for posting; email addresses will not be posted or sold.  This site uses cookies to store the optional information you add when commenting on an article–name, email address and URL.  Cookies are not used for any other purpose.  Further, I reserve the right to remove or edit any comments.

Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites.  phdiddy.com allows other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to serve advertisements within our Site. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser, the advertisements and links that appear on phdiddy.com. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens.
